Arrival and Transportation
AIRPORT
If you are arriving by plane, it is advisable to consider the area's three major international airports: Orlando (MCO, 72 miles/115 km), Jacksonville (JAX, 105 miles/169 km), or you might also have the option of flying into Orlando Sanford International Airport. However, we highly recommend flying into Daytona Beach International Airport, which is very accessible and ensures a VIP welcome as our partner is the airport itself. This option is not only safe but also saves you time and money.
Daytona Beach is accessible from both locations by bus, but renting a car is much simpler and more comfortable (and financially more sensible for 2-3 people).
For local transportation within the city, numerous taxi companies are available to guests, but public transportation options like Uber and Lyft are also available (and most often cheaper).
Important tips!
At Orlando airport, you cannot directly call an Uber or Lyft, but it is advisable to use a shuttle to the parking lot and call these alternative transport services from there. The cost between Orlando and Daytona Beach is typically around $100-120.
Orlando airport is one of the busiest airports in the USA, so always expect long lines.
However, the airport in Daytona Beach is very comfortable, with no lines.

Miami is about a 4-hour drive away, which is very difficult to manage right after landing due to the transition difficulties, so it is advisable to stay there for one night.
