If you arrive by plane, you may want to arrive at the three major international airports in the area, Orlando (MCO, 72 miles / 115 km) or Jacksonville (JAX, 105 miles / 169 km) or fly to Orlando Sanford International Airport.
Daytona Beach is accessible by bus from both locations
It is much easier and more convenient to rent a car (in the case of 2-3 people, renting a car is already financially worthwhile).
There are a number of taxi companies available to guests for transport within the city, but public transport, Uber and Lyft, are also available (and often cheaper).
- Uber or Lyft cannot be called directly to Orlando Airport, but it is worth using Shuttle to the car park and calling these alternative means of transport. The Orlando-Daytona Beach distance ranges from $ 100 to $ 120.
- Orlando Airport is one of the busiest airports in the US, there are always long lines to look forward to.
- The airport in Daytona Beach, on the other hand, is very convenient, there are no queues.
- Guests staying at the One Daytona Hotel can use the hotel Shuttle for free. (Autograph)
- Miami approx. It is a 4-hour drive away, which in my experience is very difficult to do immediately after landing due to the transfer possibilities, so it is worth staying there for a night.
Daytona Beach area restaurants, shops and attractions are ready to welcome you with special offers and discounts when you participate in the “Show Us Your Badge” program. Go to (link) for details.
