This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in building bridges between America and Hungary, especially in the areas of education, business, and government.

We have put together a meaningful itinerary for the group that provides a balance between business, education, and fun. You will want to take advantage of this trip!

We recommend arriving in Budapest on May 31st and attending the Rotary Club’s Sasad Traditional Charity Organ Concert at St. Stephen’s Basilica in the evening. On Sunday, we invite you on a group tour to explore Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The program includes visits to the Synagogue and Jewish Quarter, the Opera House, and Buda Castle. On Monday morning, we will tour the Parliament, then visit Budapest Metropolitan University and attend a reception courtesy of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Trade Administration. We will spend Tuesday in Debrecen, where we will visit the Hajdú-Bihar County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, see the Pharmaflight company with its Aviation Academy and Science Center, and be hosted by the University of Debrecen. Then, on the way back to Budapest, we will make a short visit to the famous Hungarian Hortobágy. Wednesday is reserved for visiting higher education and business institutions, hosted by Óbuda University and Corvinus University of Budapest, as well as the VOSZ (National Association of Entrepreneurs), and on Thursday we will participate in the main day of the Hungarian Summit 2025. On Friday, we will go to Győr, where we will visit the Science Park, the USA Accelerator Office, go to Széchenyi István University and visit the MOBILIS Interactive Exhibition Center, and there will be a pitching.

The Hungarian delegation is a group of education and business-minded people who want to learn more about the country and are interested in strengthening relationships. Those taking part in the delegation will find that they can make connections, get information, and expand their horizons.

When will the Hungarian delegation trip take place?

The inaugural expedition will take place from June 1-6, 2025. These are the dates that the group will meet up to participate in various planned activities and opportunities. You can lengthen the trip at either end, allowing you to explore your home.

Who can join me on this journey?

Anyone! You can bring along your spouse, business partners, etc. While the activities planned during the five days are for those in the delegation, you can arrange an additional time outside to explore and relax.

Who is behind the creation of this event?

The HungarianHub Inc. will be organizing the event. The HungarianHub is the creator of the annual Hungarian Summit, which is held each May. The Hungarian Summit is a popular event that draws a wide variety of people, including ambassadors, elected representatives, experts, artists, and celebrities. A survey at the event showed a clear demand for the summit to be held in Budapest in 2025, so we are taking a group of 20-30 people there for the experience. The idea is to take those interested in building relationships to Hungary. The primary goal of the 5-day event is to build bridges between the two countries in the areas of business, education, culture, community, and more.

How will we get between the venues?
